ai and humans as superflous external factors

ai is set to replace the internet. images, conjured up by a machine learning algorithm, taught from the public internet, flooding the net. that same algorithm teaches itself from it's own images. an infinite, recursive loop of images, over and over and over again. indistinguishable from human made art, ever more similiar. humans immitating the images created by machine.

news articles, substack essays, comment sections. endlessly populated by machine generated content, forever. posting, taking that as input and posting it again.

humans no longer play a role in the process of online conversation. we are now entirely external.
